Greetings and good wishes to every parent who comes across this document – Prospects of             St. John’s Public School, SIRUSERI. To be a parent may sound simple, but today it’s the most complex, complicated, and challenging role, particularly in the phase of choosing the right curriculum, right model school, and taking the right decision in educating the children, and also in exposing and toasting them to a comprehensive and inclusive curriculum that enhances not only the intellectual quotient of the children, but also the emotional, moral, social, physical and the spiritual quotient in them.

As a passionate educationist, supplemented by rich in-depth experience in the field of education, I had gone through all the processes and phenomenon in the halls of school education since 1981. In my experience and understanding, each parent has a special expectation in terms of education and understands its purpose differently, keeping their child (ren) in focus. But to my knowledge, it is the school—the most sacred institution of the society—to play the crucial role of all the parents in providing the right curriculum that will be the blend of experiential learning, wide exposure, learning experience, enterprising classroom education, innovative teaching, freedom of expression, individual guidance, provision for ‘out of box thinking’, professional mentoring, and a school climate that gives room for improvement and upgradation in all areas, keeping in mind the student’s future. To put it in brief, the school should provide the collective role of parents.

Understanding today’s world of school education—its merits and demerits, the caliber and the temperament of today’s students which are varied, the crucial and the professional role expected from the classroom educators, the need to make education reach out to the multiple intelligence of students, and to make the spread of education not only qualitative but comprehensive… SJPS, in my stewardship, has designed the blueprint of the school curriculum accordingly. Yes, this new school, with our enriched experience, has been planned, prepared, planted, processed, and ploughed in all its curriculum, making it thoughtful to make the outcome productive.

The stretch of OMR, Siruseri and its neighbourhood is the high-profile habitat of many middle class, upper middle class and the corporate IT corridor community; they are sure to enjoy the educational hospitality and services that will be rendered by St. John’s Public School @ Siruseri.
